Nintendo ha sfruttato la visibilità del Gamescom 2019 che si sta tenendo in questi giorni a Colonia per presentare un lungo trailer gameplay su Link’s Awakening, il futuro titolo di The Legend of Zelda.
Il video mostra numerose nuove aree e meccaniche di gioco. Un’importante novità sono i Chamber Dungeons, livelli costruibili utilizzando blocchi che verranno sbloccati mano a mano che si superano i dungeon nella modalità storia. Questa modalità sembra essere molto intuitiva e, anche se un po’ povera di contenuti, può essere una base solida da cui partire per un futuro Zelda Maker, sulla falsariga di Mario.
Il video mostra un mini-boss, un mostriciattolo dalle sembianze di un granchio, da sconfiggere colpendolo alla schiena. Ma la cosa interessante è che, una volta battuto, è possibile aggiungere il blocco nel “fai-da-te”. In questo modo, oltre a poter sfidare nuovamente il boss, è possibile farlo con l’arsenale di armi al completo, cosa impossibile altrimenti.
