Aleste è stato uno sparatutto a scorrimento uscito nel lontano 1988 per Sega Master System, prodotto dall’azienda Compile, chiusa nel 2002. Dal 2008 è possibile giocarci sulla Virtual Console della Wii, ma nel novembre scorso la casa di sviluppo M2 ha annunciato un nuovo titolo previsto per il 2019.
Adesso il seguito di Aleste è realtà: si chiama Aleste Branch ed è ufficialmente in fase di sviluppo.
Al momento non sappiamo nient’altro, non resta che aspettare per scoprire data di rilascio, prezzo e piattaforme sulle quali sarà disponibile Aleste Branch. Il 27 luglio e il 7 settembre nuove informazioni saranno rese pubbliche durante due eventi in Giappone.
Al primo di questi, il Wonder Festival 2019, verrà rivelata l’astronave principale del gioco, mentre il design della pilota è già stato reso noto dal disegnatore Eeji Komatsu.
