Pro Evolution Soccer ha rinnovato il marchio a partire dal nome: dal prossimo titolo sarà eFootball PES. La versione 2020 vede tra i principali partner l’FC Barcelona, e Konami lo ha dimostrato mostrando all’E3 2019 un nuovo trailer dove appaiono Lionel Messi, l’ex capitano Andrés Iniesta e Ronaldinho.
L’attenzione per i dettagli è la prima cosa che salta all’occhio: i tre calciatori sono portavoce di un nuovo metodo di dribbling e di controllo della palla, che porta il gioco ad alti livelli di spettacolarità.
La modalità Master League è stata rinnovata, promettendo un sistema di dialoghi interattivi, trasferimenti più realistici e loghi degli sponsor personalizzabili. Inoltre sarà possibile vestire i panni di manager famosi come Zico, Cruyff, o Maradona. Probabilmente PES conta molto su questa modalità, trascurata dai rivali di FIFA nelle ultime versioni.
eFootball PES 2020 uscirà il 10 settembre 2019 per PC, PlayStation 4 e Xbox One.
