edizione fisica di
The Long Dark su PS4 e Xbox One.
Per celebrare il lancio di questa versione, Raphael van Lierop, Fondatore e Creative Director della software house, spiega come il gioco sia la stesso disponibile in versione digitale, con l’uscita su disco che è solo il raggiungimento di uno degli obiettivi dello sviluppatore che sta lavorando all’Episodio 3 insieme a Redux, ovvero una versione migliorata dei primi due episodi, tutti in uscita a Dicembre.

We’re excited to announce that today marks the physical release of The Long Dark at retail, on both Xbox One and PS4, through our collaboration with Skybound Games. The game is now available for purchase on their site as well as at retailers in North America, and then in other territories on Friday, September 7th (see the
full list here).
To celebrate the launch, we’ve released a brand new trailer!
With all of that said, we know that often the physical release of a game indicates the “1.0” version and the launch suggests the game is finished and the developer is done and moving on.
We wanted to let you know that this is not the case with The Long Dark! Retail launch is a milestone in our development that, along the way, has hit Kickstarter, Early Access, Game Preview, and then the launch of WINTERMUTE, our story mode, last August. Development still continues beyond this and we are currently working towards our 5-episode story arc and more updates to Survival Mode in the future.
Episode Three and Redux, an overhaul of Episodes One and Two, is right around the corner and will arrive in December.
Redux means a completely new mission structure, all new writing and a fully voiced storyline, new narrative presentation, and new story elements that did not exist in the original iterations of Episodes One and Two.
