Durante la PlayStation Press Conference di Sony che da il via all’edizione 2017 del Tokyo Game Show, Capcom ha annunciato che Monster Hunter: World sarà disponibile su PlayStation 4 e Xbox One a partire dal 26 Gennaio. Ancora nessuna conferma per la release PC, che uscirà come da programma nei mesi successivi.
In Giappone al lancio, insieme al gioco, verrà rilasciata anche una PS4 Pro chiamata “Liolaeus Edition” raffigurante un Rathalos e contenente un pad a tema Monster Hunter, oltre ad una ricca edizione limitata dove sarà possibile trovare al suo interno un artwork, una figure e la colonna sonora di Monster Hunter: World.
