L’annuncio di Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes, avvenuto nel corso di questa settimana, ha avuto un sapore dolce-amaro per alcuni fan della serie. Infatti come si può notare dal primo trailer il doppiatore a dar voce a Travis Touchdown non sarà più Robin Atkin Downes.
L’ex prestavoce del protagonista ha poi confermato su Twitter, cercando di coinvolgere i fan per chiedere spiegazioni in merito, al director del gioco Goichi “Suda51” Suda, utilizzando l’hashtag #PerformanceMatters (“le prestazioni contano”).

Del perché Downes non sia stato richiamato per il ruolo non è ancora ben chiaro. Il doppiatore negli ultimi anni ha prestato la sua voce in titoli come Uncharted, The Last of Us, Gears of War, Tomb Raider, Ratchet & Clank, e ha interpretato Kazuhira Miller in Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker e Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain.
