News Senran Kagura: Estival Versus, nuovo trailer e aggiornamenti

HELLO AND WELCOME TO UPDATE 4 OF SENRAN KAGURA ESTIVAL VERSUS: THE FINAL STRETCH!

As you know, SENRAN KAGURA ESTIVAL VERSUS is just around the corner – you will be able to get your hands on the game on 18th March! To make the wait a bit more bearable, we’re going to share with you the latest news.

 

First and foremost, the hottest topic: DLC. There’s a LOT of content that’s going to be coming in the weeks after the game releases. To begin with, and as you already know, a patch will update the game to version 1.17 and will include a bunch of additional content, like improvements, missions and characters. However, this is only the beginning of the DLC downpour! The rest of the content will be distributed throughout the 4 weeks following the launch of the game.

 

The way we have set this up is as follows: You are of course free to purchase most of the items individually. However, you can also purchase sets of items if you’re after something in particular. And if you are the keenest of collectors, you will also be able to purchase ‘Mega Bundles’ containing all the DLC released on that week for even bigger savings. Therefore, if you just want to have all the DLC for the game, you can simply purchase the 4 Mega Bundles that will be released on the 4 consecutive weeks following launch. There are a couple of items, however, that won’t be included in sets or Mega Bundles – these will have to be purchased separately (such as the SV BGM). Please see the release schedule below:

We will be releasing the pricing for the additional content on release, week by week as an update. We are keen to provide a quick and easy reference to content so please watch out on our social channels and this website for this information.

 

Besides all this DLC, there’s one more patch looming over the horizon: 1.19. This patch will update the Western version to the latest Japanese version and will also enable the use of the 5 costumes featured in the Sakura Edition of SENRAN KAGURA ESTIVAL VERSUS, only released in Japan. These will be available as separate, paid downloads at a later date.

Moving back to the Limited Editions – by popular demand, we would also like to take this opportunity to show you the artbooks that will be bundled in the ‘Bahonkas’ and ‘Kagura Millennium Festival’ editions of the game. We think they look amazing – the colours really pop out! But don’t take our word for it – see for yourselves:

We also have the final CD sleeve and CDs printed and finished in all their glory! We can’t wait for everyone to get their hands on this soundtrack. It’s kept the production team entertained throughout the whole project – we’re a bit biased, but it’s fantastic!

Last but not least, a finalised printed Limited Edition box appeared in the office last week, and we were keen to slip this into the update! We look forward to pictures of these joining your collections, and hopefully, sitting proudly among them!

Whilst on the topic, our Limited Editions are selling fast – and we are close to selling out already! If you are keen to secure your hands on a Bahonkas edition for example, we have around 100 left in stock for PS4, but none for PS Vita! And now, let’s talk about the star of the show! We would like to share something really special with all of you. We’ve been working very hard on a series of three live action trailers that we hope you will enjoy. When put together, they form a very peculiar story of romance, passion and obsession. Well, perhaps they are not as serious as all that… Here’s the first one for your enjoyment!
